Anchorage Inn was borne out of  very charitable circumstances.   3 sisters and a friend were for many years,  accustomed to hosting a Christmas party for  underpriviledged children,  at what was then the 10 room "Island Inn."   After the sad passing of the beloved owner, the property was put on the maket for sale!   The fear of not being able to host the children's party at the Inn, resulted in an outright purchase by the four female entrepreneurs.   It has continued to be a "Merry Christmas" for many young, less fortunate children.

Anchorage Inn has developed a reputation for being "The Caring Inn."   Our warm, friendly staff look forward to welcoming our many repeat guests for both long and short term stays.   The vacationer and business traveller alike make Anchorage Inn their "Home Away from Home." !
